Reaching City Park playground for kids
Although entry to city park is possible from all sides,but the closes Bus stations to reach
the Children Playground are following.
The walk from these bus stations towards the children playground of Budapest is 2 to 5 mins.
The Budapest buses are quite efficient in bringing seamless transfer from different points of the city to the varosliget.
If you are coming to city park from Budapest Keleti train station,you can take any bus 30,30A,230,79 to drop off at Bus station “Benczur Utca”.
If you are coming from Budapest parliament to city park Children play ground , Bus 70 is your best friend which should drop you at the Dvorak Setany.
Additionally if you are coming from Budapest airport to city, you can take either take Bus 200E or 100E.

One of the major attractions in the Varosliget playground of Budapest is the tallest slide which is more than 25 feet high.
Kids have to reach the top either by climbing a circular stairs sort of assembly, or the other way is to walk along the ropes from ground, which is a challenge in itself.
There is another playground assembly where kids have to reach to the top of a tower just by climbing a net of rope which is challenging.
The ground part of the whole net rope is full of sand.
Right in the middle of the children playground is a huge balloon which is a great attraction for kids above 6 to climb using the ropes and reach the top of the balloon.
Behind the balloon, there is another tall slide which needs great climbing skills either through complex mesh of ropes or an inclined path that leads to the top of slide.
Ziplines,swings,slides,and trampolines are the main attractions for kids above 6 in the playground.
Climbing wall and skating near the városliget playground
If your kids are fond of wall climbing and skateboarding, do not forget to bring the proper equipment on your Budapest trip.
Right in front of the Main playground, there is a long climbing wall with footholds spread around.
Kids from age 2 to 12 years can find various spots to test their climbing skills along the wall.
The maximum height of the climbing wall is 8 to 9 feet.
After kids climb the wall, they can come back from the passage on the back side of the wall.
Right in front of the wall is a small oval shaped bowl where kids can practice their skateboarding.
The depth of the bowl is around 6 feet.
